Prices are $29.95 per adult and $21.95 per child ages 3 to 11 years old with kids 2 and under free. The event price includes zoo admission and parking.
Glen Ellyn
Flashlight Egg Hunt, Churchill School, Glen Ellyn, March 29
For older children, the Flashlight Egg Hunt is the perfect spring staycation activity. This event takes place on March 29 from 8:30 to 9:00 PM and is designed for children between the ages of 7 and 11. Advance registration and a small fee is required to participate in this event.
Hinsdale
Robbins Park Easter Egg Hunt, Hinsdale, March 31
Kids ages 11 and under are welcome to join the fun at Robbins Park in Hinsdale for an Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Hinsdale Parks and Recreation Department. This rain-or-shine event will begin at 10:30 AM. Areas will be divided by age group so everyone will have a chance to fill their baskets. The event will include spring crafts, live entertainment, and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Lisle
How Did We Get Here?, The Museums at Lisle Station Park, Lisle
The Museums at Lisle Station Park are hosting the “How Did We Get Here?” exhibit over the week of spring break. This event focuses on the history and growth of the museum complex itself. While you are on the museum campus, you can also enjoy all of the usual exhibits, which focus on the culture and heritage of Illinois in the 19th century.
Morton Arboretum Gnome Hunt, ongoing through March, Lisle
Gnomes have invaded the Children’s Garden at Morton Arboretum! Challenge your kids to find them all. The event is included in the admission price. Hours are 9:30 AM to 4 PM.
Naperville
Bug Bonanza, DuPage Children’s Museum, Naperville, March 31
The Bug Bonanza at the DuPage Children’s Museum is an exciting event for families with children of all ages. Look at bugs under a microscope, participate in crafts, and see the world from the view of a bug in the Wonder Room. This year’s Bug Bonanza is scheduled for March 31 from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Easter Egg Hunt, Frontier Park, Naperville, March 31
The Jaycees and the Naperville Park District are joining forces to host the annual Easter Egg Hunt for the community of Naperville. During this event, children will hunt for more than 14,000 eggs. The hunt is coordinated by age group to provide a memorable experience for each child. This year’s Easter Egg Hunt will take place at Frontier Park on March 31 at 8:55 AM.
Oakbrook
Macy’s Bunny Brunch, Oakbrook, March 24, 25, and 31
Celebrate spring with a seasonal brunch at the Signature Kitchen at Macy’s in Oakbrook.
