Like many living in this part of Illinois, I am a transplant, born and raised in central Wisconsin. Upon graduating with a degree in geography from Valparaiso University, I decided on graduate school at NIU, culminating in a job as GIS Analyst for a local county government. Shortly after that, I married my husband Dean, a real estate attorney and son of a local real estate developer. I have spent the past 22 years loving life as a stay-at-home mom to three amazing kids, a community volunteer, and a fill-in assistant at my husband's law firm.
I retired from my previous career many years ago, however, my love of geography - space, place, scale, and time- has remained firmly rooted. Witnessing the changing landscape, local growth, and transformation of this area has truly been a geographer's dream! Although I may be newer to the role of residential real estate broker, this passion, further fueled by my long-standing connection to the real estate industry gives me a level of awareness and wisdom that may not be expected.
To quote Maya Angelou, "The ache for home lives in all of us. The safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.” My husband Dean and I have treasured every moment raising our children here -finding and making our home in Chicagoland. Whether selling or purchasing, I aspire to share my enthusiasm and help you achieve the same. You can be assured I will listen carefully to your needs and professionally help you navigate this process. My knowledge, dedication, and service will exceed your expectations. I hope you'll allow me the privilege, it would be my pleasure.

I love to be outdoors doing anything active, especially walking my dogs, hiking or biking.
It allows me to meet new people, connect with them, and hear their fascinating life stories all while helping with their real estate needs.
Definitely involves spending time with family and friends, includes pizza, and a bottle of sparkling wine/champagne.
