2. The Big Bounce America – Wheaton
Families looking for a high-energy adventure can head to Wheaton on Saturday, August 8, and Sunday, August 9, for The Big Bounce America, featuring some of the world’s largest inflatable attractions. The event includes The World’s Biggest Bounce House, The Giant obstacle course, Sports Slam area, and airSPACE, a space-themed inflatable experience filled with moon craters and friendly alien structures.

3. Veggie Fest – Lisle
You might be surprised by just how much there is to experience at Veggie Fest! This popular summer festival returns to Lisle on Saturday, August 8, and Sunday, August 9, at Danada South Park. This free event celebrates food, wellness, and community with international cuisine, live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, health and wellness talks, yoga, meditation, and family-friendly activities.

3. “Be You” Rock Hunt – St. Charles
Need something fun to do with the kids? You never know what you might discover during the Be You Rock Hunt! Starting at 9:00AM this free community scavenger hunt returns to downtown St. Charles on Friday, August 7, hosted by the St. Charles Business Alliance. Participants can explore the downtown area while searching for 20 different hidden painted rocks, with lucky finders taking home a goodie bag with great prizes and goodies from local businesses.
Perfect for families, friends, and anyone looking for a little summer adventure, the Be You Rock Hunt is a fun way to enjoy the community, discover local shops and businesses, and experience all that downtown St. Charles has to offer.

5. Oswego Cruise Night Series – Oswego
Calling all classic car enthusiasts! The Oswego Cruise Night series brings together classic cars, great music, delicious food, and a fun community atmosphere. Held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, these family-friendly evenings are the perfect way to enjoy a summer night while checking out incredible vehicles and connecting with fellow car lovers.
Events rotate between Wednesday evenings at Byline Bank and Saturday evenings at the Oswego American Legion Post 675, giving attendees multiple opportunities to join the fun.
