Plainfield Food Truck Festival & Fireworks

Time: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Fireworks at 9:15 PM)
Location: Bott Park & Plainfield Central High School

Plainfield kicks off the celebrations early with a lively festival featuring a wide variety of food trucks, offering everything from gourmet bites to carnival favorites. Enjoy an afternoon of great eats, games, and community fun. The evening concludes with a stunning fireworks show visible from both Bott Park and Plainfield Central High School. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for the best viewing experience.

Aurora 4th of July Celebration

Date: July 3 & 4
Time: Festivities begin at 6:00 PM (Fireworks at 9:15 PM)
Location: Downtown Aurora

Join the City of Aurora as they celebrate Independence Day by living up to their "City of Lights" name with a spectacular fireworks display on the evening of Thursday, July 3rd, in downtown Aurora! Best viewing is available at the Aurora Transportation Center and McCullough Park. Food Trucks and DJ's will be at both locations. DJ Suave Smooth will be spinning at The Aurora Transportation Center from 6:00 PM - 9:45 PM. DJ Pena will be spinning at McCullough Park from 6:00 PM - 9:45 PM. Then on July 4, enjoy the City of Aurora’s 4th of July Parade starting at 10:00 AM in Downtown Aurora at the intersection of Benton St. and Broadway St!

Naperville Community Fireworks Show

Date: July 4
Time: Fireworks begin at 9:30 PM
Location: Frontier Sports Complex

Naperville will host a free fireworks show in celebration of Independence Day at the Frontier Sports Complex, 3380 Cedar Glade Dr. Fireworks will begin at 9:30 PM. on Friday July 4, 2025. Before the show, the Naperville Municipal Band will perform at 7:30 PM. under the Wagner Pavilion at 95th Street Community Plaza located next to 95th Street Library. There is no charge for admission or parking. Naperville’s fireworks show is known for its scale and quality, making it one of the top destinations in the area for the 4th of July. Frontier Sports Complex provides plenty of open space, so arrive early to secure a good spot. The display is produced by a professional pyrotechnics team and features a wide array of effects and a dramatic finale. You won’t want to miss it!

Yorkville Fireworks Viewing Party

Date: July 4
Time: Fireworks at dusk
Location: Yorkville American Legion Parking Lot

Yorkville kicks off with an Independence Day Parade starting at 9:00 AM! The parade route starts at Yorkville High School and ends at Town Square Park. Right after the parade, there are Children’s Foot Races at 10:30 AM, sponsored by the Yorkville Junior Women’s Club! Kids ages 1-12 are welcome to participate. Yorkville offers a more relaxed celebration perfect for families seeking a quieter way to enjoy the holiday. Bring your own chairs or set up near your vehicle for a simple and enjoyable fireworks viewing experience. While this event is low-key compared to larger festivals, the show delivers an impressive end to the night.

Woodridge and Downers Grove Fireworks

Date: July 4
Time: Fireworks at 9:30 PM
Location: 75th Street & Lemont Road

Downers Grove and Woodridge are joining forces once again to put on a spectacular fireworks display that brings both communities together. The show kicks off around 9:30 PM. on July 4 at 75th Street and Lemont Road – a central spot that's easy to get to and offers great views from several surrounding areas. Earlier in the day, catch the hometown parade starting at 1:00 PM at Main and Grant streets. The route heads south on Main Street and wraps up at Warren Avenue. Whether you're there for the parade, the fireworks, or both, you can expect a well-organized event with plenty of space and a top-notch show to cap off the celebration.

Lisle Village Fireworks & Parade

Date: July 3 & 4
Time: Concert begins at 5:30 PM (Fireworks at 9:30 PM)
Location: Lisle Community Park

Lisle’s Independence Day celebration kicks off on Wednesday, July 3 with a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. at Community Park. Bring blankets and lawn chairs for a night under the stars. Before the show, enjoy live music at the Van Kampen Stage: Junkyard Groove plays from 5:30 – 7:00 PM, followed by Fletcher Rockwell from 7:30 – 9:00 PM with a mix of rock, blues, country, and Americana. Parking at Community Park is limited, so walking or biking is encouraged. Free parking is available in downtown commuter lots, near Village Hall, Garfield Avenue, and Lisle Junior High. Then on Thursday, July 4, celebrate with the Independence Day Parade at 10:00 AM. The route begins at Lisle Junior High, heads west on Jonquil, north on Main Street, east on Burlington, and ends at Lisle Village Hall. For an extra special treat, the Lisle Heritage Society is hosting an Ice Cream Social after the parade. Enjoy free Culver’s ice cream (while supplies last) and patriotic music by the Lisle Community Band.

St. Charles July 4th Fireworks

Date: July 4
Time: Fireworks at 9:30 PM
Location: Langum Park, 7th and Madison Avenues, St. Charles, IL

Celebrate 4th of July in St. Charles with a spectacular fireworks show at Langum Park, located at 7th and Madison Avenues. The display begins at 9:30 p.m. and can be seen along the Fox River. At noon on July 4, the St. Charles Park District will launch a red balloon in the sky above Langum Park. If you can see the balloon, you will have a great view of the fireworks at dark. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the show in a beautiful riverside setting. Arrive early to secure your spot and soak in the festive atmosphere of downtown St. Charles.
